I have fond memories of him showing me how he mixed paint and allowing me to explore the store with its exotic paint smells. I often dream about hanging around the wharfs and handline fishing for what ever would bite. I came upon this blog looking for pictures of the old Henderson and Johnson building. Living out of state now and in my late fifties I often reminisce of those times gone by. ----- DMFinnUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04785782978818309633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4307693819522364967.post-87559851253954360342009-04-02T18:17:00.000-07:002009-04-02T18:17:00.000-07:00What a great idea -- common sense! Thank you for sharing with us your vivid memories of the way things really were and how they relate to today's times. It gives a undistorted perspective rarely told by other romantic writers who choose to sugar coat everything.
